For several decades KwaZulu-Natal, a province at southafricas eastcoast, has installed gill nets to protect its beaches against big sharks, like the great white, tiger or zambesis. This very inefective method represents a threat not only to small sharks but also to dolphines, turtels and other species, that get killed due to this archaic method with only 12% of targeted animals to count.
